311 - Who's Out There?

I would REALLY like to know who is reading my blog. Please leave a comment letting me know that you are. All you have to do is click where it says " 0 (it may say another number) Comments" under my post. I know most of you probably don't have Blogger Id's, so you can choose "Other" and enter your name there. You can also choose "Anonymous", but if you do, please put your name in the message!
You don't have to leave an actual message, just your name!
PLEASE do this for me!
Even if you read this late, please still do it!

PS - Bryan and Shelleigh you are both exempt from this request, because I know y'all are regular readers! ;)

HI!

We recently lost my husband's best friend from Baumholder (Sgt. Allan Bevington with the 40th Engineers) & I came across your blog soon after his death.

My husband was stationed in Baumholder (also with the 4oth) before we were married & I got to visit a few days for the Engineer Ball, so it holds a special place in my heart. We are now @ Ft. Lewis, Washington.

Thank you for your commitment to blog so often! Good luck with your exam.

I found this site as I was reading the latest news from Iraq and a soldier with the last name of Bevington was mentioned in the srticle. He was killed in September of 2006. Since this was my maiden name I followed up and learned something about him. He is likely a distant relative, as my father's family came from PA when I saw his picture I was struck as to how much he resembled my father! Also of interest is that I was born in Idar-Oberstein, Germany in 1957 when my father was in the Army! I see that is where you are. Just thought this was all interesting as I wandered the internet this morning. God Bless our Troops!

Hi
I also recognize your husband's colleague's last name as it's in fact my married name and my father-in-law's name was Allan Bevington and he was Air Force in the Canadian military. The soldier's picture also shows resemblance to my husband's family too. How very strange how we are all connected somehow. Hope that all is well with your family and God Bless.
