North Georgians at Fort Campbell

This was another fun and busy weekend for us. On Saturday morning we went back over to the neighboring town of Hopkinsville for their Little River Days Festival. Shortly after we got there, Marlie had the chance to participate in the Tot Trot. It was a VERY short race down "library hill" for small children.
Here she is right after they started

and in the back of the pack - just like her parents!

On Saturday night, M's babysitter came over and Bryan & I had a date night. We had sushi at a Japanese restaurant we've been wanting to try. After dinner we saw Angels & Demons. It was a late night for us, but we always enjoy getting away for a few hours. It makes it so much easier for us that M has a regular sitter that she likes so much too.

Sunday morning of course meant church for us. After M woke up from her nap we hit the road again! There are quite a few North Georgia alumni stationed here at Campbell. We went to a North Georgia cookout at one of those family's homes. Just off the top of my head I can think of 9 families that were there. It was a huge group of us! Although it was our first time hanging out with them, we enjoyed it. M especially enjoyed running around with all the other children!

That is great you guys have a good sitter. I've yey to even look for one but know I need to soon. My Mom helps out ALOT but I hate asking her to watch him in the evenings. Anyway, hope all is well and Miss Marlie is such a little girl now. Very cute too!
