Between the Hedges!

We went to Georgia for a while at the beginning of September. We arrived on Friday night and my dad & I went to the first UGA game of the season on Saturday. I LOVED being back in Athens at a game!
I got a chance to meet up with some of my college friends before the game started.

A great way to spend a Saturday!

Daddy's UGA girls!

My cousin & sister at their first UGA game as students

Nana got Marlie her own UGA cap with her name embroidered on the back! Even though we currently have a losing record, Marlie is trying to hold up a #1 here.

Marlie's (actual) Birthday

I can't believe it's been almost a month since I last posted! I have a lot of catching up to do again!
We had Marlie's birthday party the week before Bryan left so I decided her actual birthday would just be a day of fun with friends. We loaded up into my friend's minivan and went to the zoo in Nashville. It took us quite a while to get 4 carseats arranged and the 7 of us actually in the zoo. It turned out to be a short trip but the kids still had a lot of fun.

We came back in time for everyone to get naps/rest. When it got close to dinner time we loaded up again and went to Cheeseburger Charleys. I had never been before, but Bryan & Marlie had gone a few times. You just can't go wrong with hamburgers, hotdogs, fries and onion rings!

The best thing about Cheesburger Charleys is that it's right beside Coldstone Creamery! After dinner we took our crazy crew in Coldstone. There is always a long line there and it was funny how the people kept staring at us 4 women and our 7 children! One man finally told us over and over how we deserved medals.
The kids were so cute looking at all the flavors!

Marlie usually goes for the "blue" ice cream, but that night she went with "purple".

The perfect way to end a fun day!

That's my girl!

SwagBucks Update - September

Below is my original post about SwagBucks. I have been using their search engine for around 5 months now and have earned $105 in Amazon gift cards!! I'll try to do updates like this on a regular basis to show how much I've earned. If you have any questions about it, I'll be glad to answer them.
---
I have heard about SwagBucks often, but never looked into learning what it was. I finally did yesterday and am hooked! Once you sign up on their site, you can use their search engine (instead of Google, for example) to earn points. You can redeem the points for all types of gifts, but the most popular are definitely gift cards. I signed up about 24 hours ago and already have 81 points!
I highly recommend this easy way to earn free gift cards!

If you would like to sign up, please use my referral code below. You get 30 points just for signing up!

Vote for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

The Pepsi Refresh Project gives away grants to great ideas. It was pointed out to me today that the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is trying to win one of these grants to fund a new study. Our friends, The Tooles, know what it is like to have a child with CF. We continue to learn about this disease from them and are happy to do what we can to help find a cure. Please go to the Refresh Everything site and vote for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. You do have to register for the site, but take the few extra minutes to do this. We can help this study get the grant that could make a difference in the lives of children with CF!
