On December 11, we went to our neighbor's basketball game and then spent the rest of the morning at an event called Magic at Fort Campbell. A nearby county holds this on post for the families of deployed soldiers. The children were able to visit with Santa and each received a toy. We were also served lunch. The community around Fort Campbell really supports soldiers and their families and I am so thankful for that.
Here are the girls waiting outside in the cold, wet weather.
We waited in line to see Santa for over an hour but near the end the children were given cards to make for their dads.
She's a fan!
M received an early Christmas present from Santa & his elves - 100 piece play food set!
That same night we had a neighborhood Christmas cookie exchange & pj party! I joke that it's a Christmas miracle that we got this picture taken. There was only one child not shown who is in the floor fussing. :)
