At the end of April, Marlie's preschool held an end of the year program. All of the children sang songs and each child in PreK learned a line to recite about the different names of God. I love watching these precious children perform because they truly are full of joy when they sing their worship songs - as it should be!
The Easter festivities continued with an Easter egg hunt at Marlie's preschool. Her class had a hunt on the church grounds and then a party in their classroom. As usual the kids were super cute and fun to watch!
Marlie's class went on a field trip to the botanical garden here in Athens. They did a nature scavenger hunt throughout the garden and ended the trip with a snack. Their favorite thing was definitely just running around everywhere and climbing on whatever they could.

We managed to get both PreK classes to sit still for a picture!
My sorority has a great tradition of holding an alumnae Easter egg hunt every year. The house has a huge beautiful front lawn so it is perfect for hiding eggs. I have taken Marlie once or twice, but this year it was fun to take both of my legacies.
There were games with prizes for the kids to do before the hunt. Marlie kept trying to help this little girl with a game.
My sister lived in the sorority house this past year so Marlie felt at home there from visiting Avery. Hence, why she's already taken her shoes off!
In March, our friends Justin & Katy hosted a People of Walmart Casino Night at their home. It was the perfect way for me to spend my first evening out since having Emma. We were able to have a fun, relaxed night with old friends and even though I didn't do any gambling, I did win a round of bingo!
